OLIVE LEAF tincture
OLIVE LEAF has long been used for the prevention or treatment of a variety of inflammation and infections. Oleuropein, the main component in olive leaf tinctures, has antioxidant, antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and immune stimulating properties. It helps combat urinary tract infections and it also lowers blood pressure.
In short, this marvelous tree has all kinds of health benefits (not to mention its delicious fruit)!
Each batch of OLIVE LEAF tincture is hand made from ethically gathered plants, individually sourced from a private nature reserve in the Deep South of the Cape Peninsula. This tincture has been made so as to give the body what it needs in order to work with inflammation and infections of all kinds.
The medicinal properties are extracted in a locally made brandy, according to one of the traditional South African methods of tincturing.
Olive leaf may interact with certain medicines. Do not take olive leaf without consulting your healthcare provider if you are taking the following:
- Blood pressure medications, as it can cause your pressure to get too low
- Insulin or other blood sugar medicine, as it may cause hypoglycemia
- Certain chemotherapy drugs, due to its antioxidant properties
Recommended dosage is 15 drops up to 3 times per day.
